Should I be prepared for any other problems like BIOS etc?

Further to my question answered by James a week or so ago re upgrading an Acer Aspire T180. Things move glacially on planet BC due to this PC etc! I now have acquired the RAM and Athlon 64 X2 7550 2.5 GHz Socket AM2+ 2MB Cache. Not from the suggested sites as I’m in the UK but I have them all here now. Besides popping it all in should I be prepared for any other problems like BIOS etc? Cheers BC
