Chinese food recipe wanted?

My local Chinese restaurant serves an excellent Chicken with cashew nuts. It is served in lovely tasting reddish brown sauce with I have tried to copy without success. Nor can I find any recipe that comes close to replicating it either in taste or colour. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
