Is the fact that Jesus said nothing about abortion an indicator that it wasn't a big deal to him?

Abortions and even infanticide was practiced by ancient peoples of the Mediterranean for thousands of years before Jesus was supposed to have walked the earth. It was no secret. Do you think that the fact that Jesus never once brought it up is an indicator that he didn't think it was a big deal.
